Originally from Chesterfield, England, Richard John Jones currently lives and works in Amsterdam, studying at Central Saint Martins.
Jones’s work explore topics of queer history and an examination to understand how gender, race, disability and class intersect with mainstream culture. Working with textiles, Jones creates digital prints which can be purchased commercially before setting out to produce art pieces that include costumes for performance, sculptures, installations and tapestries.
