Hana Getachew is a New York based designer and founder of Bolé Road Textiles, which merges artisanal Ethiopian woven fabrics with contemporary American interior design. Getachew combines bold colours and striking patterns to create designs manufactured by weaving collectives and small women-owned businesses in Ethiopia.
As well as providing export opportunities and business to women of Ethiopia, and championing the high-skilled craftsmanship of Ethiopia, Hana Getachew campaigns for increased diversity in US architecture and interiors.
